Pull of the Earth 4
Wow, I don't even know what parts of the prompts I need to catch up on. Go me.
Pt. 1:
Everything was done already, or too tired to try. Or too boring, or too exciting, too different. Life wasn’t boring, but sometimes he needed a sanctuary. He found safety in familiarity, even if it lacks anything else. In safety he could find calmness, and in calmness he could be himself. Pt. 2:
What an unfortunate squandering, of love, of life. It deserved a chance at life, at happiness. So did its litter. Which matters more though? Probably the latter. Without it, the former doesn't feel like as valuable as it is.
